GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 17 February 2003
on the occupation of soldiers of the Czech Army to carry out the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in the period up to 31 December 2003
The Government orders pursuant to § 14 paragraph 3 of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, and pursuant to § 50a of Act No. 283 / 1991 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 26 / 1993 Coll.:
In the period from the date of entry into force of this Regulation until 31 December 2003, a maximum of 2500 soldiers in active service shall be used for the performance of the duties of the Police of the Czech Republic in the Czech Republic.
Soldiers in active service carry out tasks under Section 1 under the command of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic. Soldiers in active duty carry out duties with weapons.
The Minister of Defence shall designate soldiers in active service, including military equipment and equipment, to carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
