THE LAW
of 25 April 1973
amending and supplementing Act No. 150 / 1969 Coll., on Laws
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
Act No. 150 / 1969 Coll., on Laws, is amended as follows:
1.
in point (c), the words "safeguard supervision 'shall be inserted after the words" submit' and, at the end of that provision, the word "or 'shall be added;
the following point (d) is added:
"(d) intends to avoid carrying out work in the performance of a prison sentence pretending to be ill, arbitrarily refusing to eat, being damaged to health or continuously and refusing to perform the assigned work without any serious reason."
2. In Paragraph 8 (c), the words "from an employment relationship 'are replaced by the words" from a work or other similar relationship'.
3. the following paragraph 3 is added to Article 9:
"(3) For an offence against socialist coexistence, he will be punished by deprivation of liberty for up to three months or by a corrective measure or prohibition of activity or by a financial penalty of up to 5000 Cds, who
(a) falsifies or alter the contents of a medical prescription intended to be used as a genuine prescription or who uses such a prescription as a genuine prescription; or
(b) provide another prescription form intended to be used for falsification, or who, by the same intention, obtains such a form of surrender or otherwise unduly obtained. "
4. Article 13 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) The enforcement of penalties and protective measures imposed in criminal proceedings shall be carried out in accordance with the rules on penalties and protective measures imposed in criminal proceedings. '
This Law shall take effect on 1 July 1973.
