DECLARATION
of 20 July 2004
on the issue of gold coins "Novogotics - castle Hluboká" for CZK 2,000
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
§ 1
(1) On 8 September 2004, the Gold Coins "Novogotika - Hluboká Castle" are issued as part of the "Ten Century of Architecture" cycle for CZK 2,000 (hereinafter the "Coins").
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coins and matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins are rolled of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 6.22 g, its diameter is 20 mm and its strength is 1.6 mm. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth. When the coin is embossed in normal and special design, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In weight, the tolerance allowed up to 0,062 g and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%.
§ 2
(1) A composition of heraldic animals from the great state emblem of the Czech Republic is located on the front of the coin. There is a Czech lion in the middle, a Moravian eagle on the left and a Silesian eagle on the right. Under heraldic animals is the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" and underneath is the detail of the cast iron construction of the veranda surrounding the orange region of the castle Hluká. At the left, bottom and right edges of the coin, the name of the "DESET TABLE ARCHITECTURE" cycle is in the unclosed copy and the denomination of the coin with the acronym "2000 CZK." The brand of the mint that struck the coin is placed under the Czech lion.
(2) On the reverse side of the coin is shown the facade of Hluboká castle with Schwarzenberg coat of arms with jewels and the Order of Golden Fleece in the foreground. In the unclosed copy at the edges of the coin is the text "NOVOGOTIKA - LOW - 2004." The author of the fine design of the coin is the academic sculptor Jiří Vineček, whose initials "jv" are located to the right of the Schwarzenberg coat of arms above the year of embossing.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on 1 September 2004.
