GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 21 February 2024
amending Government Regulation No 64 / 2023 Coll., laying down conditions for the implementation of measures to improve the defence of pigs by vaccination, and Government Regulation No 70 / 2023 Coll., laying down conditions for the implementation of animal welfare measures
The Government mandates pursuant to § 2c (5) of Act No. 252 / 1997 Coll., on Agriculture, as amended by Act No. 85 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 291 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 179 / 2014 Coll. and Act No. 382 / 2022 Coll., and pursuant to § 1 (3) of Act No. 256 / 2000 Coll., on the State Agricultural Intervention Fund and on the amendment of certain other laws (Act No. 441 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 291 / 2009 Coll. and Act No. 179 / 2014 Coll.:
AMENDMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT REGULATION ON DETERMINING THE CONDITIONS FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MEASURES TO ENFORCEMENT OF PRACTICATION IN PRACTICATION
Government Decree No. 64 / 2023 Coll., laying down the conditions for the implementation of measures to improve the defence of pigs by vaccination, is amended as follows:
1. In Article 5 (3), the words "under the conditions of registration of the vaccine administered or the use laid down by the manufacturer of the autogenic vaccine 'are inserted after the word" vaccination'.
2. In Article 6, at the end of paragraph 2, the sentence "In the final report, the applicant for the category of sows shall indicate the animals with a complete vaccination for the pathogen only once."
Transitional provision
The procedure for the application initiated under Government Regulation No. 64 / 2023 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this Regulation, shall be completed under Government Regulation No. 64 / 2023 Coll., as effective from the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
AMENDMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT REGULATION ON DETERMINING THE CONDITIONS FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MEASURES
Government Decree No. 70 / 2023 Coll., laying down the conditions for the implementation of animal welfare measures, is amended as follows:
1. In Article 6 (1) (c), the words "unrestricted access to the range including the range dimension 'are replaced by the words" access to the range including the size and type of the range'.
2. in Paragraph 8 (1) (c), the word "one" shall be deleted;
3. in Article 8 (2) (b) of the introductory part of the provision, the words "or biological materials" shall be deleted;
4. In Paragraph 8 (2) (d), at the end of point 3, the word "a 'is replaced by a comma and the following point 4 is inserted after point 3:
"Category 4 animals, and '.
Point 4 is renumbered point 5.
5. In Article 8, at the end of paragraph 2, the dot is replaced by "a 'and the following point (f) is added:
"(f) ensure compliance with the conditions laid down in points (a) to (e) for all dairy cows and calves kept by the applicant on the holding listed in paragraph 1 (a).";
6. In Article 15 (8), the words "while respecting the condition laid down in Article 8 (2) (c) 'and the words" while respecting the condition laid down in Article 10 (3) (e)' are deleted and the number "30 'is replaced by" 20'.
Transitional provision
The procedure for an application initiated under Government Decree No. 70 / 2023 Coll., as effective before the date of application of this Regulation, shall be completed under Government Decree No. 70 / 2023 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this Regulation, with the exception of the provisions of Sections 8 (2) (b) and 15 (8) of Government Decree No. 70 / 2023 Coll., which shall apply as from the date of entry into force of this Regulation.
EFFECTIVE
This Regulation shall take effect on 1 March 2024.
