DECLARATION
Minister of Finance of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic
of 28 April 1970
on the issue of commemorative silver coins for the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin and the 25th anniversary of the liberation of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic by the Soviet Army
The Minister of Finance of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll. and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin, commemorative silver 50 crowns are issued.
(2) The silver silver 50 crowns are rolled from an alloy of 700 pieces of silver and 300 pieces of copper. The gross weight of 50 kroner is 13 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down shall be allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the 50 crown is 31 mm, its edge is smooth with ornamental influence, composed of alternating diamond squares and points.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver fifty crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and around it a copy of "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." The denomination of the value "50 'is located in the middle of the bottom and below is the name of the currency abbreviation" Kčs'.
(4) On the back of the commemorative silver 50 crowns is the true profile of V. I. Lenin. A copy of "V. I. Lenin" is located in the right part and the copies of "1870" and "1970" are in the lower part and between them a message of laurel. The design of the commemorative silver 50 crown is the work of the academic sculptor Franta David, his brand "D" is placed lower left below the laurel smear.
(1) On the 25th anniversary of the liberation of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic by the Soviet army, silver commemorative twenty-five crowns are issued.
(2) The silver memory 25 crowns is driven from an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of 25 kroner is 10 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down shall be allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the twenty-five crown is 30 mm, its edge is smooth with ornamental influence, consisting of alternating horizontal lines and reclining crosses.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver twenty-five crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and underneath it in three horizontal lines the inscription "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." The authors of the faces are academic sculptor Zdeněk Kolářský and academic painter Ivan Strnad. The name "IVAN STRNAD" is located in the middle of the bottom.
(4) On the reverse of the commemorative silver twenty-five crown is shown in the broken areas of the landscape, in the background left a hint of mountain Ríp and right Slovak mountains. Above them is the symbolic sun of freedom, composed of lilacs and lilac leaves. The figure "25" which denotes the value and symbolizes the anniversary is placed in the middle of the bottom. The author of the reverse side is the academic sculptor Zdeněk Kolářský and his name "KOLÁŘSKÝ" is placed horizontally in the ground surface of the landscape.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
