amending Act No. 247 / 2020 Coll., on certain measures to mitigate the effects of a coronavirus epidemic known as SARS CoV-2 on cultural events
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 247 / 2020 Coll., on certain measures to mitigate the effects of a coronavirus epidemic known as SARS CoV-2 on cultural events, is amended as follows:
1. in Section 2, "31 October 2020 'is replaced by" 30 September 2021';
2. In Article 3 (1), the words "before the entry into force of this Act 'are deleted.
3. in Articles 3 (2) and 5 (2) (b), "2021" is replaced by "2022."
4. In Paragraph 4 (1), "March 'is replaced by" December'.
Transitional provisions
1. Unless otherwise provided for, legal relations and rights and obligations arising therefrom before the date of entry into force of this Act shall be governed by Act No. 247 / 2020 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this Act.
2. Act No. 247 / 2020 Coll., as effective from the date of entry into force of this Act, shall also apply to admission fees for cultural events pursuant to Article 2 of Act No. 247 / 2020 Coll., as effective from the date of entry into force of this Act, which was paid by or for the benefit of the customer from 19 May 2020 until the date immediately preceding the date of entry into force of this Act.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
