amending Decree No. 218 / 2019 Coll., on the list of methodologies for tests of difference, uniformity, stability and utility value of varieties, as amended by Decree No. 256 / 2020 Coll.
According to Article 30 (3) of Act No. 219 / 2003 Coll., on the circulation of seeds and propagating plants and on the amendment of certain laws (Act on the circulation of seeds and seed), as amended by Act No. 178 / 2006 Coll. and Act No. 334 / 2020 Coll.:
Decree No. 218 / 2019 Coll., on the list of methodologies for tests of difference, uniformity, stability and utility value of varieties, as amended by Decree No. 256 / 2020 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 1, including the title and footnote 1, reads as follows:
Preliminary provisions
This decree implements the relevant European Union1 regulations and sets out the methodologies for field and laboratory tests for differences, uniformity, stability of varieties of agricultural species, vegetable species, grapes, hops and fruit genera and species and lists the methodologies for field and laboratory tests for the use of varieties of agricultural species, industrial chicory and vine.

2. in Article 2 (1) (e), the words "industrial chicory" shall be inserted after the words "agricultural species," and the words "and hops" shall be deleted;
3. In footnote 5, the words "the second sentence of paragraph 1 of Article 4 of Council Directive 2002 / 55 / EC 'shall be inserted after the words" Article 1 (3) of Commission Directive 2003 / 90 / EC'.
4. In Article 3 (3), "hops' is replaced by" industrial chicory '.
5. in Article 5, the following paragraph 2 is inserted after paragraph 1:
"(2) In addition to the general methodology for testing the value of industrial chicory varieties referred to in Section 3 (3), the methodology for testing the value of chicory listed in Annex 3 to this Decree, Table 3.3, shall be used. ';
Paragraph 2 shall become paragraph 3.
6. Paragraph 8 (2) is deleted and paragraph 1 is deleted.
7. In Section 8, the words "Table 6.1 for hops' are deleted.
8. In Annex 1, Table 1.2 reads as follows:
