GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 12 December 2023
on the deductible costs of housing and accommodation for the purpose of determining entitlement to and the amount of the humanitarian benefit
According to Article 6b (3) of Act No. 66 / 2022 Coll., on measures in the field of employment and social security in connection with the armed conflict in the territory of Ukraine caused by the invasion of Russian troops, as amended by Act No. 75 / 2023 Coll. and Act No. 407 / 2023 Coll., ("the Act '):
(1) The amount of the deductible cost of residential housing included in the housing register, unless otherwise specified, is CZK 6,000 per calendar month for foreigners with temporary protection, which is listed in § 6b (1) (a) or § 6b (1) (e) (1) (6) of the Act, and CZK 3,000 for other foreigners with temporary protection.
(2) The amount of deductible accommodation costs in other accommodation areas, unless otherwise specified, is CZK 4,800 per calendar month for foreigners with temporary protection, which is listed in § 6b (1) (a) or § 6b (1) (e) (1) (6) of the Act, and CZK 2,400 for other foreigners with temporary protection.
(3) A maximum of 5 persons shall be taken into account for the number of persons living together and jointly paying the cost of their needs in order to determine the amount of eligible housing costs in the housing records and accommodation in other accommodation areas; First, the persons referred to in § 6b (1) (a) or § 6b (1) (e) (1) to (6) of the Act are always taken into account.
Repeal
Government Decree No. 209 / 2023 Coll., on the deductible costs of housing and accommodation for the purpose of determining entitlement to and the amount of the humanitarian benefit, is hereby repealed.
Efficacy
(1) This Regulation shall take effect on 1 January 2024.
(2) This Regulation shall expire on 31 March 2025.
