DECLARATION

of 19 December 2013

on the declaration of the National Nature Reservation of Kladské peat and establishing its closer protection conditions

The Ministry of the Environment provides pursuant to § 79 (4) (h) of Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on Nature and Landscape Conservation, as amended by Act No. 349 / 2009 Coll.:

§ 1

Definition of the national nature reserve

(1) The National Nature Reservation of Kladské peat (hereinafter referred to as the "National Nature Reservation") is hereby declared.

(2) The national nature reserve is situated in the territory of the Karlovy Vary Region, in the cadastral territories of Mariánské Lazne, Prameny, Spa Kynžvart and Vranov u Rovná. The national nature reserve boundaries shall be determined by closed geometric patterns with direct sides whose vertices are determined by coordinates of the single trigonometric network of the cadastral1). The lists of coordinates of the vertices of geometric patterns as they follow in the patterns are given in Annex 1 to this Decree.

(3) An indicative graphical representation of the territory of the national nature reserve and its protection zone is given in Annex 2 to this Decree.

§ 2

Subject matter of protection

National nature reserves are protected

(a) natural forest crops consisting primarily of the communities of peat and soiled spruce and fallow berries;

(b) natural forest-free, consisting primarily of the communities of open stoves and crossing peatlands; and

(c) the populations of rare and endangered species of plants, fescue pine (Pinus rotundata), peat pine (Pinus subpumilio) and black pine (Empetrum nigrum), including their biotopes.

§ 3

Closer protection conditions

Only with the consent of the competent nature conservation authority can the national nature reserve

(a) permit or make changes to the types of land or to their exploitation (2);

(b) permit or carry out geological work linked to the intrusion into the territory; or

§ 4

Efficacy

This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2014.
