DECLARATION
of 11 December 2008
on the details of the registration of aircraft operated by the Czech Police
The Ministry of Interior provides according to § 116 paragraph 5 of Act No. 273 / 2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic:
An application to register an aircraft shall include:
(a) the name of the police department requesting entry in the register of police aircraft;
(b) an indication of the type of aircraft, the production number of the aircraft and other basic technical details of the aircraft;
(c) a proposal for the allocation of an aircraft address;
(d) a statement by the applicant that the aircraft is not registered or that an application has been submitted by the authorised person to delete the aircraft from another aircraft register.
The application for registration of an aircraft in the register of police aircraft shall be supported by:
(a) proof of the contracted liability insurance for aircraft operations and proof of payment of insurance premiums;
(b) documentation confirming the conformity of the aircraft with the approved model or airworthiness certificate issued by the air authority of the country of the aircraft manufacturer;
(c) a statement that the operational documentation of the aircraft and the flight manual are registered with the aircraft manufacturer and are subject to regular updates.
Other basic technical data on police aircraft registered in the aviation register of police aircraft are:
(a) the type of aircraft;
(b) the manufacturer and the year of manufacture;
(c) colour,
(d) the maximum number of persons on board a police aircraft in flight;
(e) maximum take-off mass.
The model certificate for the entry of a police aircraft in the register of police aircraft is set out in the Annex to this Regulation.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2009.
