GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 19 November 2008
on the occupation of soldiers of the Army of the Czech Republic in the period from 1 January 2009 to 31 July 2009
The Government orders pursuant to § 14 (3) of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, and pursuant to § 22 (1) of Act No. 273 / 2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic:
§ 1
For the performance of the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in ensuring internal order and security in the Czech Republic, a maximum of 200 soldiers in active service shall be used between 1 January 2009 and 31 July 2009.
§ 2
Soldiers in active service carry out tasks under Section 1 under the command of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic. Soldiers in active duty carry out duties with weapons.
§ 3
The Minister of Defence shall designate soldiers in active service, including military equipment and equipment, to carry out their duties under Section 1.
§ 4
Decree of the Government No. 335 / 2007 Coll., on the occupation of soldiers of the Army of the Czech Republic to perform the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic between 1 January 2008 and 31 December 2008, is hereby repealed.
§ 5
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2009.
