DECLARATION
of 18 October 2005
on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Slavkov
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On the 200th anniversary of the battle of three emperors at Slavkov, commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns") are issued. The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) The two-hundred koruna in normal and special design is cut from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *." In the case of stamping of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In the mass, the allowed tolerance is up to 0,26 g and in the silver content is up to 1%.
(1) The name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC ', which is bounded by dots on both sides, is placed in the left and the lower part of the intercircle in an unclosed copy. In the upper part of the ring, there is also an unclosed copy of the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation" 200 CZK "and on the right of it the mark of the mint which struck the two hundred koruna, bounded by dots on both sides. On the centre of the two hundred crowns, the heraldic animals from the Czech Republic's national emblem are in the shields, the Moravian eagle on the left, the Czech lion in the middle and the Silesian eagle on the right. Shields with heraldic animals partially overlap on the outer ring. Against the background of the shields is depicted the famous Mohyla of Peace.
(2) On the back of the two-hundredth crown, there is an unclosed copy of "SLAVKOV AUSTRITZ," the words of which are separated by a dot, an unclosed copy of "1805" and "2005" in the lower part. The numbers are bounded by dots. In the middle of the two-hundred crown, the signs of three emperors in the shields are placed on the background of the time map of the battlefield. On the left is the sign of the French Emperor Napoleon, down in the middle the sign of the Austrian Emperor Franz I and on the right the sign of the Russian Tsar Alexander I. Shields are partially overlapping on the outer ring. The author of the design of the two-hundred crown is the academic sculptor Zbyněch Fojt, whose initials, connected by the letters "FZ," are at the upper edge of the centre of the two-hundred crown in the middle.
This Decree shall take effect on 16 November 2005.
