of 27 November 2008
amending Act No. 21 / 1992 Coll., on Banks, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:

1. In Paragraph 41e (2), the first sentence is replaced by the following: "Reimbursement shall be granted to the beneficiary in the amount calculated in accordance with paragraph 1 but not exceeding EUR 50 000 per beneficiary in respect of one bank."
2. In Paragraph 41m (1), the second sentence is replaced by the following: "The insurance premium must be negotiated in such a way that the amount of the total amount of the deposit claims, including supplementary insurance, does not exceed EUR 50 000. The contribution to the Fund shall be equal to the contribution under Paragraph 41c multiplied by the fraction in which the numerator is the difference between the amount of the total amount of the deposit claims, including the additional insurance, and the ceiling for the maximum compensation under the deposit guarantee scheme of which the branch of the foreign bank is involved and the amount of the total amount of the deposit claims, including the additional insurance, in the denominator. ';
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
