DECLARATION
of 9 July 2004
determining the type and model of service medals and the reasons for granting them
In agreement with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Security Information Service and the Office of Foreign Relations and Information, the Ministry of Interior provides, pursuant to Section 49 (3) of Act No. 361 / 2003 Coll., on the service relationship of members of the Security Corps:
SPECIES AND MODEL OF THE SERVICE MEDALES OF SAFETY COSTS AND GROUNDS FOR GRANTING THEM
Type of service medals
The Security Corps shall award the following service medals (hereinafter referred to as "medals'):
a) Police of the Czech Republic, Fire department of the Czech Republic and Office for Foreign Relations and Information
1st Medal "For Bravery,"
2nd Medal for Safety Merit,
3rd medal "For fidelity" I., II. and III.
b) Customs administration of the Czech Republic medal
"For a standard service" of Grade I, II and III,
c) Prison Service of the Czech Republic
1. medal "Medal of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic" I., II. and II. degree,
2nd Medal for Bravery,
3rd medal "For loyal service" I, II and III,
(d) Security Information Service
the "Safety Merit Medal 'of grades I, II and III,
(e) General inspection of the Security Corps
1. the "Safety Merit Medal,"
2nd medal "For fidelity" I., II. and III.
Medals Police of the Czech Republic and Fire Department of the Czech Republic
(1) The medal "For Bravery" is made of gold-plated tombak alloy, with a circular shape 35 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness. On the face side, in the middle of the circular field is shown the motif of lime leaves, around the circular field is placed the inscription "For bravery." On the reverse side is a symbol or a sign of a security corps. The medal is attached to a double ribbon of 32 mm wide and 55 mm long with a fastening needle. The ribbon has a colour design of vertically oriented tricolor in national colours in the middle of the blue field. The medal includes two ribbon sizes of 32 x 11 mm in colour identical to the ribbon.
(2) The "Safety Merit Medal" is made of silver plated tombak alloy, has a circular shape 35 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness. On the face side there is a horizontal embossing inscription "For Safety Merit" in vertically oriented plastic strips with lime motif above the centre. On the reverse side is a symbol or a sign of a security corps. The medal is attached to a double ribbon of 32 mm wide and 55 mm long with a fastening needle. The ribbon has a colour design of vertically oriented stripes in the order of colors light blue, dark blue, light blue. The medal includes two ribbon sizes of 32 x 11 mm in colour identical to the ribbon.
(3) The medal "For fidelity" is made of a tombak alloy in the design of starobronz. It has the shape of a regular octagonal with a diameter of 35 mm and a thickness of 3 mm. On the face side is placed in a circular field in the middle of the plastic stripes of the star type embossed eight-point starfish made of gold-plated tombaka alloy, silver-plated tombaka alloy in the middle of the plastic stripes of the star type, and in the third-degree tombaka alloy in the design of old-robronz. The inscription "For loyalty" is placed around the circle. On the reverse side is a symbol or a sign of a security corps. The medal is attached to a double ribbon with vertical stripes in the order of colors red, white, blue, white and red, 32 mm wide and 55 mm long, finished with a pin. The medal includes two ribbon sizes of 32 x 11 mm in colour identical to the ribbon on which the miniature embossed eight-point starfish with a diameter of 9 mm and a thickness of 1,2 mm is made of the same material and in the same colour as the medal.
(4) The model of medals of the Police of the Czech Republic and the Fire Department of the Czech Republic is set out in Annex 1.
Medals of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic
(1) The "Model Service" medal is made of a tombak alloy, with a round shape of 32 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness. The head of the Merkur trade god is shown in the circular field on the face side, in the lower half is the inscription "For a standard service" in the circumference. On the reverse side there is a symbol - a winged stick with a helmet wrapped in two snakes with heads facing the stick. In the lower half there is the inscription "Customs Administration of the Czech Republic" on the perimeter. Grade I medal is made in gold (highest grade), level II is silver (middle grade) and level III is bronze (lowest grade). The medal is attached to a double ribbon with vertical stripes in the order of colours blue, white and blue, 32 mm wide and 55 mm long. The medal includes a ribbon in colour identical to the ribbon on which the miniature face side of the medal is placed.
(2) The model of the medal of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic is set out in Annex 2.
Medals Prison services of the Czech Republic
(1) The Medal "The Medal of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic" is made of tombak alloy with surface treatment of gold (1st degree), silver (2nd grade) and bronze (3rd grade). It has the shape of a regular octagonal with a diameter of 33 mm and a thickness of 3 mm. On the face side, there is a cross sword and a key and through them a burning torch. In the upper half is the inscription "VIRTUTE ET EXEMPLO" along the perimeter. On the reverse side of the centre there is a character of the Security Corps, in the upper half there is the inscription "PRISON SERVICE OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC" in the upper half, and in the lower half there is a representation of the lipid branches. The medal is fixed to a double ribbon of 38 mm wide and 55 mm long, which has vertical stripes in the order of colours in the 1st degree - pale blue, golden, pale blue, in the 2nd degree - silver blue, pale blue, silver blue, silver blue, silver blue, silver blue, pale blue and in the 3rd degree - pale blue, finished with a fastening needle. The medal includes two ribbons 38 x 7 mm in colour identical to the ribbon on which the miniature face side of the medal is placed.
(2) The medal "For Bravery" is made of a gold-plated tombak alloy, it has the shape of a regular octagonal with spikes of diameter of inner inscribed circle 33 mm and thickness 3 mm. On the RS side, the upper half of the perimeter of the medal is the inscription (letters on the inside) starting on the left, "FOR VALUATION." In the middle of the medal area is placed sword and weight. In the lower half are depicted lipid branches. On the reverse side of the medal are depicted in the middle of the sword and the scales, in the upper half of the perimeter of the medal is placed inscription (letters of the heels inside) starting on the left "JUNE SERVICE OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC" and in the lower half of the medal area along the perimeter are depicted by lipa branches. The medal is fixed to a double ribbon of 38 mm wide and 50 mm long, with vertical stripes in the order of colours purple, gold, red, gold, purple in the ratio 7: 10: 10: 7 mm with a pin pin. The medal includes two ribbon sizes 38 x 10 mm in colour identical to the ribbon of the medal.
(3) The medal "For loyal service" is made of patinated tombak alloy with coating of gold (1st degree), silver (2nd grade) and bronze (3rd grade). It has a circular shape with a diameter of 33 mm and a thickness of 3 mm. In the middle of the medal area there is a sign of the Czech Prison Service. In the upper half there is a inscription along the perimeter of the medal (letters on the inside) starting on the left "FOR CREDIBLE SERVICE." At the bottom there is a stylized lip branch. On the reverse side of the medal are depicted in the middle of the sword and scales, in the upper half of the perimeter of the medal is the inscription (letters of the heels inside) starting on the left "PRISON SERVICE OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC" and in the lower half of the circuit are depicted in the lip branches. The medal is fixed to a double ribbon of 38 mm wide and 50 mm long, which has vertical stripes in the order of colours for 1st degree dark blue, white, red, white, dark blue in the ratio 7: 10: 4: 10: 10: 10: 7 mm, for 2nd degree dark blue, white, red, white, red, red, white, white, dark blue in the ratio 7: 6: 4: 4: 4: 6: 7 mm and III degree dark blue, white, red, red, red, red, white, white, white, dark blue in the ratio 7: 3: 3: 3: 7 mm, ended by the connecting needle. The medal includes two ribbon sizes 38 x 10 mm in colour identical to the ribbon of the medal.
(4) The model of medals of the Czech Prison Service is set out in Annex 3.
Medals Security Information Services
(1) The medal "For Safety Merit" is made of metal with surface treatment of gold (1st degree), silver (2nd grade) and bronze (3rd grade). It has a circular shape with a diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 2 mm. The words "AUDI, VIDE, TACE" are embossed on the upper circumference on the RS. The inscription "BIS" appears on the bottom. In the center there is a large state emblem that is surrounded by exclusive decoration.
(2) The model of the Security Information Service Medal is set out in Annex 4.
Medals of the Office for Foreign Relations and Information
(1) The medal is made of a tombak alloy with silver or bronze coating. It has a circular shape with a diameter of 55 mm and a thickness of 3 mm, which passes on the bottom to a rectangle of 32 mm in length and 8 mm in width. On the face side is a two-tail lion in a jump with a crown, stylized lime leaves and the inscription "SINE IRA ET STUDIO." In the rectangle at the bottom there is the inscription "UZSI." On the reverse side there is inscription "For bravery" or "For merit of safety" or "For loyalty" I, II or III.
(2) The model of the Medal of the Office for Foreign Relations and Information is set out in Annex 5.
Medals General Security Corps Inspection
(1) The "Safety Merit Medal" is made of a Pakfong alloy with an old silver finish, with a circular shape 35 mm in diameter and 3,7 mm in thickness. On the front side there is the inscription "GENERAL INSPECTION OF SAFETY BOARDS 'on its circumference, in the middle of the plastic sign of the General Inspection of Security Choirs in the Brussels. On the reverse side there is a horizontal inscription" SAFETY RESULTS "in the upper half, in the lower half of the middle are depicted the lipid branches. The medal is fixed to a double ribbon of 37 mm wide and 55 mm long with vertical stripes in the order of colours light blue, light brown, light blue, brown, light blue, white, light blue, light brown, light blue, light blue, light blue, end with a fastening needle. The medal includes a ribbon with dimensions 37 x 11 mm in colour identical to the ribbon.
(2) The medal "Fidelity" is made of a tombak alloy with gold finish (level I) and gold plated, of a Pakfonga alloy with old silver finish (grade II), of a tombak alloy with old-robbronz finish (grade III). It has a circular shape with a diameter of 35 mm and a thickness of 3,7 mm. On the front side there is the inscription "GENERAL INSPECTION OF SAFETY BOARDS 'on its circumference, in the middle of the plastic sign of the General Inspection of Security Choirs in the Brussels. On the reverse side there is a horizontal inscription" FOR VERIFITY "in the upper half, in the lower half of the middle are depicted the lipa branches. The medal is fixed to a double ribbon of 37 mm wide and 55 mm long, with vertical stripes in the order of colors in the 1st degree - light brown, white, light blue, brown, light blue, white, light brown, light brown, light brown, light brown, light blue, brown, light blue, white, light blue, white, light brown, light brown, light brown, light brown, light brown, light blue, light blue, light blue, light blue, light blue, light blue, light blue, light blue, light blue, light blue, light blue, light brown, light brown, light brown, end of threading needle. The medal includes a ribbon with dimensions 37 x 11 mm in colour identical to the ribbon.
(3) The model of the medals of the General Inspection of Security Corps is set out in Annex 6.
Proof of medal award
Part of the medal is proof of its award. This document shall contain the identification details of the member of the Security Corps, the signature of the official and the date of award of the medal.
Reasons for the medal award
(1) A member of the Police of the Czech Republic, the Fire Department of the Czech Republic and the Office for Foreign Relations and Information shall be awarded for:
(a) the display of personal bravery of the medal "For bravery,"
(b) performance of a particularly important mission of the "Safety Merit Medal";
(c) the purpose of assessing the exemplary performance of the duties in conjunction with the duration of the service in length;
1. 30 years of medal "For fidelity" in 1st degree,
2. 20 years medal "For fidelity" II.
3. 10 years medal "For fidelity" III.
(2) A member of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic shall be awarded for showing personal bravery or for carrying out a particularly important mission or for the purpose of evaluating the exemplary performance of the service of the "Model Service" I, II or III.
(3) A Member of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic shall be awarded for:
(a) performance of a particularly important mission or for the purpose of the evaluation of the exemplary performance of the service of the Medal of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic,
b) a demonstration of personal bravery of the medal "For bravery,"
(c) exemplary performance of service duties in conjunction with the duration of service in length
1. 30 years medal "For loyal service" of 1st degree,
2. 20 years medal "For loyal service" II.
3. 10 years medal "For loyal service" III.
(4) A member of the Security Information Service shall be awarded for his / her personal bravery or for the performance of a particularly important mission or for the purpose of the evaluation of the exemplary performance of the service duties of the "Safety Merit" Medal of Grade I, II or III.
(5) A member of the General Inspection of Security Corps shall be granted the following:
(a) performance of a particularly important mission of the "Safety Merit" Medal,
(b) the purpose of the evaluation of the exemplary performance of the service in conjunction with the duration of the service in length;
1. 30 years of medal "For fidelity" in 1st degree,
2. 20 years of the "For fidelity" medal II.
3. 10 years medal "For fidelity" III.
EFFECTIVE
This decree takes effect on the date of the entry into force of Act No. 361 / 2003 Coll., on the service ratio of members of the Security Corps.
