DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 24 October 2000
on the expiry of banknotes of CZK 1 000 and CZK 5 000
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (d) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On 30 June 2001 the validity of banknotes of CZK 1 000 and CZK 5 000 is terminated.
(2) The banknotes referred to in paragraph 1 shall be exchanged between 1 July 2001 and 30 June 2004 by all banks (3) carrying out cash operations, from 1 July 2004 only the Czech National Bank.
This decree shall take effect on 1 January 2001.
