DECLARATION
of 24 November 2021
amending Decree No. 208 / 2017 Coll., determining the scope of the technical parameters for the facilities through which gambling is carried out, the requirements for the protection and storage of game and financial data and their technical parameters
The Ministry of Finance provides, pursuant to § 133 (1) (b) of Act No. 186 / 2016 Coll., on gambling:
Decree No. 208 / 2017 Coll., establishing the scope of the technical parameters for the facilities through which gambling is operated, the requirements for the protection and storage of game and financial data and their technical parameters are amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 2 (2), the second sentence is deleted.
2. In Article 8 (1), the words "a unique identification mark in the form of a registration mark issued 'are replaced by the words" a registration mark under the Decree governing exit documents in the field of gambling ("registration mark') issued '.
3. In Paragraph 8 (2), the words "firmly attached 'are replaced by the words" glued'.
4. In Article 8, the following paragraph 3 is added:
"(3) The adhesive used to affix the registration mark and the material used to manufacture the registration mark shall have characteristics such that the registration mark cannot be unglued without infringing it, not even under the influence of weather or other external influences. ';
Transitional provisions
1. For a period of 1 year from the date of entry into force of this Order, a registration mark produced before the date of entry into force of this Order may be used instead of a registration mark complying with the conditions laid down in Paragraph 8 (3) of Decree No 208 / 2017 Coll., as effective from the date of entry into force of this Order.
2. The registration mark issued pursuant to Decree No. 208 / 2017 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this Order, shall, for the period of validity of that Order, be regarded as satisfying the conditions under this Order if it is glued to the end-device or stand-alone generator of random numbers which are operated as part of the installation before the date of entry into force of the Order.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2022.
