on the update of the nomenclature of the countries of CZ-GEON and the termination of the publication of the updates of the nomenclature of the countries of CZ-GEON in the Collection of Laws
The Czech Statistical Office, pursuant to Article 19 (2) of Act No 89 / 1995 Coll., on the National Statistical Service, as amended, announces that, on the basis of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1833 / 2006 of 13 December 2006 on the classification of countries and territories for the external trade statistics of the Community and the statistics of trade between Member States, a change in the alphabetic code of Montenegro has been made in the classification of the countries of CZ- GEON. The change is expressed in the following table:

From 1 January 2009, the classification will continue to be updated on the basis of a new Commission Regulation. The Commission Regulations are published in the Official Journal of the European Union and are binding in their entirety and directly applicable in all Member States, therefore further updates of the CZ-GEON classification will no longer be published in the Collection of Laws.
The Czech Statistical Office will continue to update the classification of CZ-GEONOM on its website at www.czso.cz. The valid version of the updated CZ-GEONOM classification will always be available on the electronic medium in the Czech Statistical Office Information Services Department, On 50th 81, 100 82 Prague 10.
