DECLARATION
of 23 November 2012
establishing a minimum threshold for the number and volume of import operations sufficient to issue an approved operator's certificate
The Ministry of Finance provides pursuant to § 9 paragraph 5 of Act No. 17 / 2012 Coll., on the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 407 / 2012 Coll.:
An operator applying for an approved operator's certificate under the directly applicable European Union Regulation (1) shall achieve a minimum number of 40 import operations in a given calendar year and at the same time a aggregate quantity of imported fishery products under these import operations shall be at least 50 000 kg.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2013.

1) Article 16 of Council Regulation (EC) No 1005 / 2008 establishing a Community system to prevent, deter and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, amending Regulations (EEC) No 2847 / 93, (EC) No 1936 / 2001 and (EC) No 601 / 2004 and repealing Regulations (EC) No 1093 / 94 and (EC) No 1447 / 1999, as amended. Article 10 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1010 / 2009 laying down detailed rules for the application of Council Regulation (EC) No 1005 / 2008 establishing a Community system to prevent, deter and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, as amended.
