DECLARATION
of 14 October 2025
on the determination of certain contributions from the general health insurance company of the Czech Republic and the sectoral, corporate and other health insurance companies for the year 2026
The Ministry of Health provides pursuant to § 7a (3) of Act No. 551 / 1991 Coll., on the General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 289 / 2025 Coll., and § 18 (3) of Act No. 280 / 1992 Coll., on departmental, branch, corporate and other health insurance companies, as amended by Act No. 289 / 2025 Coll.:
Contribution to the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic
(1) The amount of the contribution from the fund of public health activities to the financing of activities which under the Public Health Insurance Act and the Public Health Insurance Insurance Act for the Public Health Insurance Scheme is carried out by the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as the Institute of Health Information) for the year 2026 is set out in the Czech crowns according to Annex 1 to this Decree.
(2) The contribution referred to in paragraph 1 of the General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic and the General Health Insurance Company, branch, business and other health insurance company (hereinafter referred to as the "Health Insurance Company ') shall be transferred in 4 instalments to the income account of the Institute of Health Information in each quarter of the total amount of the contribution by the end of each calendar quarter of 2026. The payment shall be rounded up to the full crown.
Contribution to health service providers
(1) The amount of the contribution from the Fund of General Beneficial Activities for the processing and transmission of information on the cost of hospitalisation pursuant to Section 41a (4) of the Public Health Insurance Act for the Providers of Health Services (hereinafter referred to as "the Provider"), which has concluded a contract with the Institute of Health Information on the transmission of this information, is set out in Czech crowns according to Annex 2 to this Decree for 2026.
(2) The contribution referred to in paragraph 1 shall be made available by the health insurance undertaking to the provider in 4 instalments, each equal to a quarter of the total amount of the contribution by the end of each calendar quarter of 2026. The payment shall be rounded up to the full crown.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2026.

Amount of contribution from the Fund of General Beneficial Activities to the Institute of Health Information
The amount of the contribution granted by the health insurance undertaking under Article 1 shall be determined as follows:

Amount of contribution from the general service fund to providers
The amount of the contribution granted by the health insurance undertaking under Article 2 shall be as follows:
