on the update of the Country Code list (CZEM)
The Czech Statistical Office, pursuant to § 19 (2) of Act No. 89 / 1995 Coll., on the National Statistical Service, announces with effect from 1 January 2017 the update of the Czech Statistical Office No. 534 / 2006 Coll., established by the Czech Statistical Office No. 489 / 2003 Coll., of 18 December 2003, on the issue of the Czech Statistical Office No. 167 / 2011 Coll., as amended by the Czech Statistical Office No. 334 / 2006 Coll., Communication of the Czech Statistical Office No. 164 / 2012 Coll., Communication of the Czech Statistical Office No. 114 / 2014 Coll.
The update of the Country Code list is made on the basis of changes to the international standard ISO 3166-1 published on its website by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). The amendments to the Country Code list are set out in the Annex to the Communication.
The updated Country Number (CZEM) will be available on the Czech Statistical Office website at www.czso.cz.
