CONSTRUCTION LAW
of 19 April 1988
on changes in the system of federal central bodies headed by a member of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic Government
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this constitutional law:
(2) The Federal Ministry of Steel and Heavy Engineering and the Federal Ministry of General Engineering established by the Constitutional Act No. 157 / 1973 Coll., on the establishment of the Federal Ministry of Steel and Heavy Engineering and the Federal Ministry of General Engineering, and the Federal Ministry of Electrical Engineering established by the Federal Act No. 147 / 1979 Coll., on the establishment of the Federal Ministry of Electrical Engineering, is hereby established.
Constitutional Act No. 126 / 1970 Coll., on measures in the system of federal central authorities, headed by a member of the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, is amended as follows:
1. In Article 1 (2), the following names of federal ministries shall be deleted: "Federal Ministry of Steel and Engineering, Federal Ministry of Transport, Federal Ministry of Communications."
2. Article 2 (2) and (3) reads as follows:
"(2) The State Planning Commission is composed of the Chairman of the State Planning Commission, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, the Vice-Presidents of the State Planning Commission, the members of the governments of the Czech Socialist Republic and the Slovak Socialist Republic in charge of the management of the planning bodies of the Czech Socialist Republic and the Slovak Socialist Republic, and of other members. The President of the State Planning Commission is appointed and withdrawn by the President of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. Vice-Presidents and other members of the State Planning Commission are appointed and dismissed by the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
(3) The work of the State Planning Commission and its apparatus is managed by the Chairman of the State Planning Commission. '
(1) Where the existing laws and other legislation confer jurisdiction on the Federal Ministry of Transport, the Federal Ministry of Communications, the Federal Ministry of Metal and Heavy Engineering, the Federal Ministry of General Engineering and the Federal Ministry of Electrical Engineering (hereinafter referred to as "the present Federal Ministry"), the Federal Ministry established by this Constitutional Law shall exercise that competence.
(2) The rights and obligations of employment and other relations are transferred from federal ministries to federal ministries established by this constitutional law.
The following shall be deleted:
1. Constitutional Act No. 157 / 1973 Coll., on the establishment of the Federal Ministry of Metal and Heavy Engineering and the Federal Ministry of General Engineering;
2. Constitutional Act No. 147 / 1979 Coll., on the establishment of the Federal Ministry of Electrical Engineering.
This constitutional law shall take effect on the day of its publication.
