on the update of the Currency and Fund Numbers (ČMF)
The Czech Statistical Office, pursuant to Article 19 (2) of Act No. 89 / 1995 Coll., on the National Statistical Service, announces with effect from 1 January 2017 the update of the Currency and Fund Numbers (ČMF), established by the Czech Statistical Office Communication No. 525 / 2002 Coll., of 18 November 2002, on the issue of the updated Monetary and Fund Numbers (ČMF), as amended by the Czech Statistical Office No. 513 / 2004 Coll., the Czech Statistical Office Communication No. 412 / 2011 Coll., the Czech Statistical Office No. 332 / 2015 Coll.
The update of the Monetary and Fund Numbers is made on the basis of changes published by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). The subject of the update is the cancellation of the currency of the Belarusian ruble with the alphabetic code BYR and numerical code 974 as at 31 December 2016.
The current version of the updated Monetary and Fund Numbers (ČMF) will be available on the Czech Statistical Office website at www.czso.cz.
