of 4 November 2009
on the change of the name of Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno and on the amendment of Act No. 111 / 1998 Coll., on Higher Education and on the amendment and addition of other laws (Act on Higher Education), as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
AMENDING THE NAMES OF AGRICULTURAL AND FOREIGN UNIVERSITY MENDEL IN BRNA
The name "Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno 'changes and reads" Mendel University in Brno'.
Amendment of the Higher Education Act
In Annex 1 to Act No. 111 / 1998 Coll., on Higher Education and on the amendment and addition of other laws (Act on Higher Education), as amended by Act No. 210 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 552 / 2005 Coll., the words "Mendel Agricultural and Forestry University in Brno 'are replaced by the words" Mendel University in Brno' and the words "Technical and Economic University in České Budějovice 'are added at the end.
EFFECTIVE
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 2010.
