on the essential facts forming the subject of state secrecy
The Government of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic orders pursuant to § 2 paragraph 2 of Act No. 102 / 1971 Coll., on the Protection of State Secrets:
In the foreign policy area, the preparation of international negotiations and contracts shall be classified, if their nature so requires, and international negotiations if agreed by the Parties.
In the field of defence and security:
(a) summary data on mobilising and operational preparedness of the armed forces and corps;
(b) overall information on the combat preparedness of the armed forces;
(c) established (1) the focus and results of the reporting activity;
(d) designated (1) the forms and methods of work of the specialised components of the safety apparatus;
(e) summary data on the mobilisation readiness of the central authorities of the Federation and of the Republics;
(f) Czechoslovak military standards and their lists, a specific part of the Federal Office for Standardisation and Measurement Journal in which those standards are declared valid;
(g) established (1) geophysical work and geographical descriptions;
(h) aggregated data on the State mobilisation and material reserves;
(i) catalogues (lists) of trigonometric points data in the S-1942 coordinate system and the gravity data of the Czechoslovak supporting (basic) gravimetric network in a total area of 15 000 km2 or more;
(j) aggregated data relating to research, development, organisation and implementation of the cryptographic service, as well as means used to conceal messages on their transmission.
In the economic field:
(a) selected (1) economic security and state security data;
(b) the intentions of imports and exports set out in (1) of the products and their implementation;
(c) the location, transport and method of securing the total State reserves of precious metals and of rolling stock;
(d) research and development work important (1) for State defence and security;
(e) strategic products and technologies purchased in other States, if they require such protection;
(f) preparing the implementation of major monetary measures.
Order of the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic No 149 / 1971 Coll., on the essential facts forming the subject of state secrecy, is hereby repealed.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 15 October 1990.
