GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 16 October 2020
on the use of the Army of the Czech Republic for rescue work to protect the population and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus SARS CoV-2 consisting of the construction of a back-up medical facility and its partial operation
The Government orders pursuant to § 14 (3) and § 15 of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, as amended:
§ 1
In order to assist the Ministry of Health and to strengthen the medical capacity in the management of the epidemic, a maximum of 260 soldiers in active service for the purpose of the construction of a back-up medical facility and its partial service, including the provision of health services, shall be called up to rescue and prevent the spread of SARS CoV-2 coronavar.
§ 2
The Minister of Defence shall designate troops in active service, including military equipment, to carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1.
§ 3
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
