amending Decree No. 143 / 1965 Coll., on the provision of cash benefits in sickness insurance, as amended, and Decree No. 165 / 1979 Coll., on the sickness insurance of certain workers and on the provision of sickness insurance benefits to citizens in special cases, as amended
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs provides, pursuant to Section 51a of Act No. 54 / 1956 Coll., on the sickness insurance of employees, as amended by Act No. 37 / 1993 Coll.:
Decree No. 143 / 1965 Coll., on the provision of cash benefits in sickness insurance, as amended by Decree No. 95 / 1968 Coll., Decree No. 113 / 1975 Coll., Decree No. 165 / 1979 Coll., Decree No. 79 / 1982 Coll., Decree No. 154 / 1983 Coll., Decree No. 80 / 1984 Coll., Decree No. 134 / 1984 Coll., Decree No. 236 / 1988 Coll., Decree No. 263 / 1990 Coll., Act No. 582 / 1991 Coll., Decree No. 133 / 1993 Coll., Decree No. 313 / 1993 Coll., Decree No. 196 / 1994 Coll., Decree No. 207 / 1995 Coll., Decree No. 282 / 1995 Coll. and Decree No. 133 / 1999 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 25, the following sentence is added at the end of paragraph 3: "A worker on maternity or parental leave shall be entitled to sick leave if the conditions for entitlement to them are fulfilled and the provision of cash assistance in maternity has been interrupted; This shall apply mutatis mutandis to a staff member who has been suspended from providing financial assistance. ';
2. In the first sentence of Paragraph 34 (3), the words "and the period during which the worker was entitled to maternity aid 'are deleted.
3. In the second sentence of Article 34 (3), the words "If a worker was unable to work on maternity leave or on further maternity leave, those periods of incapacity shall not be counted 'shall be replaced by the words" The period of incapacity for work falling within the period of maternity leave or parental leave shall not count'.
4. In Paragraph 66 (2), the following words, including footnote 40 (a), shall be replaced at the end of the period by a semicolon:
40a) § 67 of Act No. 169 / 1999 Coll., on the execution of a prison sentence and on the amendment of certain related laws. '

1. in Paragraph 1 (h):
"(h) members of the local authorities,"
2. in § 5, § 19 (2) (a), § 28 (2) (a), § 69 (2) (a) and § 81 (2) (a), the words "provisions on measures against communicable diseases" shall be replaced by the words "including footnote 41a" of the Specific Legislation 41a);
41a) Act No. 258 / 2000 Coll., on the Protection of Public Health and on the Amendment of Certain Related Acts. '
3. In Article 19 (2) (d), the words "or other maternity leave 'are deleted.
4. in Paragraph 19 (2) (e):
"(e) he was on parental leave."
5. in Paragraph 28 (2) (d):
"(d) have been on maternity or parental leave up to the age of three."
6. In Article 33, the following sentence is added at the end: "For persons referred to in the first sentence, parental leave under Article 28 (2) (d) shall be equal to receiving monetary assistance in maternity, monetary assistance or parental allowance in childcare under the age of three."
7. In Paragraph 47 (2), the words "school year 'are replaced by the words" school year (semester, block) or until the term laid down in the Statutes of Higher Education (Faculty) for Termination'.
8. In Article 56 (b), the words "distance studies or 'are inserted after the words" form'.
9. In Article 56 (c), the words "and to students in the form of a presentation and distance study or an individual study plan 'are inserted after the word" study'.
(10) The heading of the ninth section reads: "Members of the local authorities."
11. in Article 64 (1), the words "municipal councils, 34) where they are paid remuneration as long-term vacant members of municipal councils (37) 'shall be replaced by the words" local authorities' representatives, where they are paid remuneration as members of local authorities' councils who perform these functions as vacations';
12. In the first sentence of Paragraph 64 (2), the words "municipal council 'shall be replaced by the words" local authorities'.
13. In Paragraph 64, the following sentence is added at the end of paragraph 2: "The provisions of the second sentence shall apply mutatis mutandis to a member of the county council who is a member of the county council and to the county captain. '.
14. In Article 65, the words "municipal council 'are replaced by the words" local authorities' and the words "for the performance of their duties' are replaced by the words" referred to in Article 64 (1) '.
15. in Paragraph 66, the words "municipal council" are replaced by the words "local authority."
16. in Article 69 (2) (d), the words "or on further maternity leave" shall be deleted;
17. in Article 69 (2) (e):
"(e) he was on parental leave."
18. in Paragraph 81 (2) (d) and (e) read:
"(d) the caregiver has received monetary assistance in maternity or the caregiver has received monetary assistance;
(e) receive a parental allowance for childcare under the age of three. ';
This decree shall take effect on 1 January 2001.
