DECLARATION
Czechoslovak State Banks
of 3 October 1990
on the withdrawal of banknotes of model 1964 and 20 of model 1970 and the additional exchange of banknotes of model 1960
The State Bank of Czechoslovakia pursuant to § 16 (d) of Act No. 130 / 1989 Coll., on the State Bank of Czechoslovakia, declares:
(1) Banknotes of 50 CZK of model 1964 (shape II) on the face side with a painting of red-arm and partisan 1) and 20 CZK of model 1970 (shape I) on the face side with engravings of Jan Žižka z Trocnova according to the oldest preserved plastic form from the end of the 15th century (2) cease to be legal money in the territory of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic until 30 June 1991.
(2) The banknotes referred to in paragraph 1 shall be exchanged between 1 July 1991 and 30 June 1992 by all banks, savings banks and post offices, from 1 July 1992 to 31 December 1992 by banks and savings banks and from 1 January 1993 only by the Czechoslovak State Bank.
The exchange of banknotes of 10 CZK model 1960 (shape II) on the front page with the engraving of two girls in the Slovak landscape 3) is carried out by the Czechoslovak State Bank at the request of the petitioner.
The last sentence of Section 1 (2) of Decree No. 8 / 1988 of the Federal Ministry of Finance Coll., on the withdrawal of banknotes of 10 CZK model 1960 is deleted.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
