DECLARATION
Ministry of Food Industry
of 6 April 1962
on the management of animal and vegetable fats
The Ministry of Food Industry provides, in agreement with the participating ministries, central authorities and authorities pursuant to § 26 (3) of Act No. 165 / 1960 Coll., on the third five-year plan for the development of the national economy of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic:
The waste fats of animal and plant origin, in particular bone fats, skin and skin fats, fatty acids S, fatty acid soap S, processed technical fats (technical tallow I and II., technical lard, animal fat egalised, trap fat and soap preparation) and technical fat extraction from meat-and-bone meal are an important raw material for the performance of the tasks set out in the national plan for the development of the national economy in the fat industry.
In order to maximise the use of waste fats according to the needs of the national economy, industrial enterprises and other organisations in which waste fats occur are required to:
(a) to classify waste fats by species, to protect them from degradation and destruction;
(b) keep records of them ensuring an overview of their distribution by species;
c) Report the annual planned quantities and types of waste fats of the Fat Industry Association, Prague, by 10 September of each year at the latest. Any subsequent changes to the planned quantity shall be reported to that Association normally.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication. *)
