of 11 April 1960
on the residences and districts of the People's Courts and of the Regional Courts
The Minister of Justice hereby orders pursuant to Section 14 of Act No. 66 / 1952 Coll., on the organisation of courts:
The seats and districts of the People's Courts are the same as the seats and districts of the District Councils, and they are the same as those of the National Committees and the Circuits of the Regional Courts, established by the Act of 9 April 1960 No. 36 Coll., on the territorial breakdown of the State.
A regional court is hereby established for the territorial district of the National Committee of the City of Prague, which is referred to as the "Municipal Court in Prague."
(1) The jurisdiction of the court in the seat of the Regional Trade Council in the matters of sickness insurance, laid down in § 395 (1) of the Civil Code, and the jurisdiction of the court in the seat of the Regional Court in the matters of pension insurance, as defined in § 395 (2) of the Civil Code, is exercised by:
(a) in the district of the Municipal Court in Prague:
People's court for Prague 1,
b) in the district of the county court in Prague:
People's Court of Praha- West,
(c) in the District Court of Pilsen:
folk court of Pilsen-town,
(d) in the district of the Regional Court in Brno:
People's Court Brno-city,
(e) in the District Court of Bratislava:
People's court of Bratislava-city.
(2) Land books for the territorial district of the Municipal Court in Prague are led by the People's Court for Prague 1.
(3) The business register shall be kept for undertakings having their registered office:
a) in the district of the Municipal Court in Prague and the Regional Court in Prague:
People's court for Prague 1,
(b) in the District Court of Pilsen:
folk court of Pilsen-town,
(c) in the district of the Regional Court in Brno:
People's Court Brno-city,
(d) in the district of Bratislava Regional Court:
People's court of Bratislava-city.
(4) The Railway Book is maintained by the People's Court for Prague 1, the People's Court for Brno-City and the People's Court for Bratislava-City; library inserts of the existing Earth board are led by the People's Court for Prague 1st People's Court Brno-City and People's Court in Opava.
The Order of the Minister for Justice is repealed
1. No 22 / 1954 Coll., determining the registered offices and districts of the People's Courts and the registered offices and districts of the Regional Courts,
2. no. 60 / 1954 Coll., setting out the mansions and districts of the People's Courts in Danube Stred, Chalov, Trnava, Sered,
3. No 31 / 1955 Coll., setting out the seat and perimeter of the People's Court in Snina and changing the district of the People's Court in Humenné,
4. No. 2 / 1957 Coll., setting out the seat and perimeter of the People's Court in Shurany and changing the district of the People's Court in New Castle.
5. no. 78 / 1957 Coll., setting out the seat and perimeter of the People's Court in Ostrov and changing the district of the People's Court in Karlovy Vary,
6. No 85 / 1958 Coll., establishing certain folk courts and defining their jurisdiction,
7. No. 6 / 1959 Coll., establishing the People's Court of Bratislava,
8. No. 61 / 1959 Coll., which changes the seat of the People's Court in New Town nad Metují.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
