on the introduction of the Education Classification (CZ-ISCED 2011)
The Czech Statistical Office pursuant to § 19 of Act No. 89 / 1995 Coll., on the State Statistical Service, as amended by Act No. 411 / 2000 Coll., announces with effect from 1 January 2014 the introduction of the Classification of Education (CZ-ISCED 2011).
The basis for the Classification of Education (CZ-ISCED 2011) is the International Classification of Education (ISCED 2011), created by UNESCO in cooperation with Eurostat and OECD and approved at the 36th UNESCO General Conference meeting in November 2011. ISCED classification serves as a tool for collecting and submitting statistics in the field of education at both national and international levels. Member States will apply ISCED 2011 classification in the reporting of education statistics from 2014 onwards.
The valid version Classification of Education (CZ-ISCED 2011) will be available in electronic form on the Czech Statistical Office website at www.czso.cz.
