on the update of the code list List of selected goods with additional statistical characteristics (DOPL _ CN)
The Czech Statistical Office pursuant to Article 19 (2) of Act No. 89 / 1995 Coll., on the National Statistical Service, as amended, announces, with effect from 1 January 2024, the update of the code list of selected goods with additional statistical characteristics (DOPL _ CN) (hereinafter referred to as "the List '), introduced by the Communication of the Czech Statistical Office No. 498 / 2021 Coll. of 14 December 2021, on the introduction of the code list of selected goods with additional statistical characteristics (DOPL _ CN).
The code list of selected goods with additional statistical characteristics (DOPL _ CN) was introduced on the basis of Government Decree No 333 / 2021 Coll., to implement certain provisions of the Customs Act in the field of statistics, and sets out additional two-digit numerical characteristics of the selected goods.
The list shall be updated to take account of changes in the Combined Nomenclature pursuant to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023 / 2364 of 26 September 2023 amending Annex I to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2658 / 87 on the tariff and statistical nomenclature and on the Common Customs Tariff and further for the more detailed classification of selected goods codes.
The subject of the list update is the introduction of four new items and the change of name for one item.
An overview of the changes in the List is contained in the Annex to this communication.
The current version of the updated code list The list of selected goods with additional statistical characters (DOPL _ CN) will be published in electronic form on the Czech Statistical Office's website at https: / / www.czso.cz / csu / czso / intrastat _ actualni _ information.
