ORDER
GOVERNMENTS OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC
of 8 October 2020
on the adoption of crisis measures
Following the Government Resolution No. 957 of 30 September 2020, the Government, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of Constitutional Act No. 110 / 1998 Coll., on the Security of the Czech Republic, declared emergency in accordance with Article 5 (a) to (e) and § 6 of the Act No. 240 / 2000 Coll., on emergency management and on the amendment of certain laws (Crisis Act), as amended, for the resolution of the crisis situation, the adoption of emergency measures within the meaning of § 5 (b) to (e) and § 6 (1) (b) of the Crisis Act.
Government
I. limits with effect from 12 October 2020 from 00: 00 until 25 October 2020 to 23: 59
1. the operation of universities pursuant to Act No. 111 / 1998 Coll., on Higher Education and amending and supplementing other laws (Act on Higher Education), as amended, including foreign universities and their branches operating in the territory of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as "higher education") by prohibiting the personal presence of students in teaching at higher education and participants in lifelong learning courses; the prohibition of the personal presence of students under this point does not apply to participation in clinical and practical teaching and practice of students in general medical, dental, pharmacy and other medical study programmes;
2. the operation of secondary and higher vocational schools and conservatories pursuant to Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on pre-school, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education (the Education Act), as amended, by prohibiting the personal presence of pupils and students in secondary and higher vocational education in schools and in the Conservatory under the Education Act, except:
- compulsory education,
- practical training and training,
- schools set up in establishments for the exercise of constitutional or protective education,
- schools established by the Ministry of Justice,
- practical schools of one and two years,
3. the operation of primary education in primary school under the Education Act by prohibiting the personal presence of pupils in half classes in the course of the week from 12 to 16 October 2020, in the manner that the first half of classes do not attend the week from 19 to 23 October 2020, and the second half classes do not participate in the week from 19 to 23 October 2020 (the number may be rounded up for an odd number of classes); the first sentence of this point shall not apply to schools and classes under Section 16 (9) of the Education Act;
4. the operation of primary schools of art and language schools with the right of national language examinations under the Education Act by prohibiting the personal presence of pupils in primary art education in primary art school and language education in a language school with the right of state language examinations, including the participation of pupils and applicants in the state language examination, with the exception of individual teaching in primary art school (i.e. one teacher and one pupil),
5. the operation of leisure centres and school clubs by prohibiting the personal presence of children, pupils and students and other participants in this education;
6. the operation of schools, with the exception of nursery schools, and school establishments under the Education Act and universities under the Higher Education Act, in such a way that singing is not part of the education;
7. the operation of schools, with the exception of nursery schools and the first stage of primary education in primary schools, according to the Education Act and universities, by prohibiting sports activities as part of education.
II. prohibits, with effect from 26 October 2020, from 00: 00 until 27 October 2020 until 23: 59, the personal presence of primary and secondary school pupils, conservatories and primary art schools under Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on pre-school, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education (the Education Act), as amended, on basic, secondary and basic artistic education and in the Conservatory under the School Act.
