DECLARATION
of 26 July 2006
amending Decree No 158 / 2004 Coll., establishing the maximum permitted level of residues of each type of pesticide in foodstuffs and food ingredients, as amended by Decree No 68 / 2005 Coll.
According to Article 19 (1) (a) of Act No. 110 / 1997 Coll., on Food and Tobacco Products and amending and supplementing certain related laws, as amended by Act No. 306 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 146 / 2002 Coll. and Act No. 316 / 2004 Coll.:
Decree No 158 / 2004 Coll., establishing the maximum level of residues of each type of pesticide in foodstuffs and food ingredients, as amended by Decree No 68 / 2005 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 1, including footnotes 1 and 1a, reads as follows:
This decree (1) implements the relevant provisions of the European Communities (1a) and regulates the maximum level of pesticide residues for each type of food and raw material (hereinafter referred to as "foodstuffs") listed in Annex 1 thereto. It shall apply to dried and processed food, even if it is an ingredient of another food, as well as to food intended for export to third countries.
1) It is issued on the basis and within the limits of the law, the content of which allows the relevant provisions of the European Communities to be incorporated by decree.

2. In Annex No 1, Group I, point (1) (vi), MISCELLANEOUS FRUIT, a new entry "papaya 'is inserted between the entries" carrots' and "celeriac tubers', and point (4) (i) OILSEEDS SEMENA is inserted between the entries" cotton seed 'and "other'.
