Decree of the Minister for the Interior
of 5 April 1950
on the deadline for submitting applications for the return of Czechoslovak citizenship.
The Minister of Interior provides, pursuant to § 3 of Decree No. 33 / 1945 Coll., on the regulation of Czechoslovak citizenship of persons of German and Hungarian nationality:
(1) Persons of German nationality who, pursuant to § 1 of Decree No. 33 / 1945 Coll. of Czechoslovak citizenship and who reside permanently in the territory of the Czechoslovak Republic, may apply for his residence at the Regional National Committee from 1 May 1950 until 31 October 1950 for his return.
(2) The request may also be made by persons whose applications have been rejected or refused pursuant to § 1 (3) or § 1 (4), § 2, § 3 or § 4 of the cited decree, after whose applications have not yet been dealt with for any reason.
Applications for reimbursement of Czechoslovak citizenship lodged between 1 December 1949 and 30 April 1950 shall be deemed to have been submitted within the period laid down in Article 1.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 May 1950.
