declaring employment in workshops and workshops of railway administrations to be equivalent to that of apprenticeship *)
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic hereby orders pursuant to Paragraph 17 (2) of the Trade Code:
The employment in the workshops and auto-shops of the Railway Administration for the repair of vehicles and equipment in the craft works referred to in § 2 shall be considered equivalent to the apprenticeship in the craft trade concerned, if they are conducted under the direction of persons who have a licence for the trade in question or otherwise have sufficient professional training.
Paragraph 1 shall apply to the craft activities which are the subject of trade:
(a) locksmith, mechanically-locksmith,
(b) mechanical,
(c) blacksmiths;
(d) cowboys,
(e) boiler.
A certificate of employment under the previous provisions shall be issued with the following clause: "This certificate shall be replaced by a certificate under Paragraph 17 (2) of the Trade Act and Decree No. 40 / 1949 Coll. on apprenticeship in the craft business................ for a period of..... year (s).... months.... days."
Paragraph 1 also assesses the employment of apprentices between 1 September 1946 and the date of publication of this Regulation.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; they shall be carried out by the Minister of Industry in agreement with the participating members of the Government.
