DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 13 December 1996
on the issue of commemorative silver CZK 200 to the 100th anniversary of the production of the first passenger car in Central Europe "Präsident"
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
§ 1
(1) On the 100th anniversary of the production of the first passenger car in Central Europe, "Präsident" is issued a commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,25 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth. In the case of two-hundredth stamping in normal and special design, the tolerance allowed shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In the mass, the allowed tolerance is up to 0,26 g and in the silver content is up to 1%.
§ 2
(1) There is a stylized large national character of the Czech Republic with a square shield. The name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC" is placed in one row under the national emblem. In parallel with the right side of the second field of the national emblem, there is a abbreviation of the money unit with the denomination of the coin "CZK 200." The mint brand that hit the two hundred crown is located at the bottom of the two hundred crown, to the right of the state sign.
(2) On the reverse of two hundred crowns is depicted the passenger car "Präsident" on the background of a square surface. Below the lower edge of the square surface is the inscription "AUTOMOBIL PRÄSIDENT" in two rows. The numbers "1897 - 1997" are located parallel to the left edge of the square surface above the front of the car. The author of the design of two hundred crowns is academic sculptor Ladislav Kozák. The initials of his name "L • K" are placed at the bottom right edge of the two hundred crown.
§ 3
This Decree takes effect on 5 March 1997.
