Decree of the Minister for Foreign Trade on the prohibition or restriction of the export of certain goods in tourist traffic

DECLARATION
Minister for Foreign Trade
of 10 February 1972
prohibiting or restricting the export of certain goods in tourist trade
Under Section 1 of Act No. 119 / 1948 Coll., on State Organisation of Foreign Trade and International Shipbuilding, and under Section 38 (1) (a) of Act No. 133 / 1970 Coll., on the jurisdiction of federal ministries, the Foreign Trade Minister provides:
§ 1
The goods listed in Annex 1 to this Order are prohibited from being exported in tourist traffic, except in respect of goods which constitute passengers' travel needs, provided that the type and quantity of such needs correspond to the condition and personal circumstances of the passenger and the length and purpose of the journey (Section 51 of Decree of the Ministry of Foreign Trade No. 82 / 1961 Coll., implementing the Customs Act).
§ 2
The items listed in Annex 2 to this Order can only be exported in tourist contact on the basis of an export permit pursuant to Section 2 of the Foreign Trade Ministry Order No 31 / 1964 Coll., on export procedure.
§ 3
Without the export authorisation provided for in Section 2, the items listed in Annex 2 cannot be exported regardless of the value and therefore regardless of the provisions of point 14 of the Annex to Decree No 31 / 1964 Coll.
§ 4
The administrative fee for granting the export authorisation for the goods listed in Annex 2 [item 59 (a) of Tariff I to Decree No 138 / 1971 Coll., on administrative charges] shall be payable from the retail domestic price of the goods.
§ 5
The measures provided for in this Order do not concern:
(a) items purchased, evidently, in the Tuzex stores or other organisations authorised to sell for free currency;
(b) goods exported by personnel of foreign representative offices and other bodies enjoying privileges and immunities in the CSSR.
§ 6
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

1. meat, fish, poultry and products thereof (including preserved meat)
2. Butter
3rd fat
4. edible fats
5. milk preserved (including dried milk)
6. Rice
7. sugar
8. dry fruits (nuts, almonds, figs, dates, raisins, etc.)
9. southern fruit (oranges, lemons, greats, bananas, pineapples) and articles thereof
10. textile goods for infants
11. knitted and crocheted linen of woven fabrics
12. knitted top dressing
13. stocking products other than women's polyamide stockings
14. children's overcoats
15. flannel, husbandry and plush
16. footwear of all kinds
17. gold products
18. Tyres and souls
19. Gas for vehicles registered abroad except petrol in containers firmly incorporated in the vehicle
