GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 30 November 2011
on fees for professional activities of the State Office for Nuclear Safety
The Government orders pursuant to § 3e (3) of Act No. 18 / 1997 Coll., on the peaceful use of nuclear energy and ionising radiation (Atomic Act) and on the amendment and addition of certain laws, as amended by Act No. 249 / 2011 Coll.:
§ 1
Subject matter
This Regulation regulates the rate of the application fee and the rate of the maintenance fee for each of the activities of the State Nuclear Safety Authority under Section 3c of the Atomic Act ("the Act ').
§ 2
Rate of application fee
Rate of application fee
(a) pursuant to Article 3c (1) (a) of the Act, where an application for a permit for placing is concerned,
1. nuclear power reactor with heat output of more than 50 MW, 19 600 000 CZK,
2. research reactor with zero output, 8 400,000 CZK,
3. research reactor with heat output up to 50 MW, 14 000 000 CZK,
4. plant for nuclear fuel production, 19 600 000 CZK,
5. plant for storage of spent nuclear fuel, 14 000 000 CZK,
6. plant for storage of radioactive waste, 11 200 000 CZK,
7. storage of radioactive waste, except storage sites containing exclusively natural radionuclides, 11 200 000 CZK,
(b) pursuant to Article 3c (1) (b) of the Act, in the case of an application for a permit for construction
1. nuclear power reactor with heat output of more than 50 MW, 126 000 000 CZK,
2. research reactor with zero output, 14,000 000 CZK,
3. research reactor with heat output up to 50 MW, 19 600 000 CZK,
4. plant for the production of nuclear fuel, 84 000 000 CZK,
5. equipment for storage of spent nuclear fuel, 19 600 000 CZK,
6. plant for storage of radioactive waste, 14,000 000 CZK,
7. storage of radioactive waste, with the exception of storage sites containing exclusively natural radionuclides, 14 000 000 CZK,
(c) pursuant to Article 3c (1) (c) of the Act, where an application for first authorisation to operate is made,
1. nuclear power reactor with heat output greater than 50 MW, 42 000 000 000 CZK,
2. research reactor with zero output, 4,200,000 CZK,
3. research reactor with heat output up to 50 MW, 11 200 000 CZK,
4. plant for nuclear fuel production, 42 000 000 000 CZK,
5. plant for storage of spent nuclear fuel, 11 200 000 CZK,
6. plant for storage of radioactive waste, 11 200 000 CZK,
7. storage of radioactive waste, except storage sites containing exclusively natural radionuclides, 11 200 000 CZK,
8th site III category for uranium ore mining and processing, 11 200 000 CZK,
(d) according to Article 3c (1) (d) of the Act, when an application is made for the granting of a permit for individual decommissioning stages of the 3rd category of uranium ore mining and processing, with the exception of decontamination stations on closed deposits, it is CZK 1,400,000.
§ 3
Maintenance fee rate
Maintenance fee rate
(a) pursuant to § 3c (2) (a) (1) of the Act, for each calendar month in which the fee obligation of the holder of the permit to operate was maintained,
1. nuclear power reactor with heat output of more than 50 MW, 2 100 000 CZK,
2. research reactor with zero output, 1000 CZK,
3. research reactor with heat output up to 50 MW, 1000 CZK,
4. plant for the production of nuclear fuel, 934 000 CZK,
5. plant for storage of spent nuclear fuel from nuclear power reactor, 234 000 CZK,
6. equipment for storage of spent nuclear fuel from the research reactor, 1000 CZK,
7. plant for storage of radioactive waste, 117 000 CZK,
8. storage of radioactive waste, except storage sites containing exclusively natural radionuclides, 175 000 CZK,
(b) in accordance with Section 3c (2) (a) (2) of the Act, for each calendar month in which the fee obligation of the holder of the authorisation to operate the 3rd grade plant for the extraction and processing of uranium ore, with the exception of decontamination stations on closed bearings, is CZK 35,000,
(c) according to § 3c (2) (b) (2) of the Act, for each calendar month in which the fee obligation of the holder of the permit for the individual decommissioning stages of the 3rd category for the extraction and processing of uranium ore, with the exception of decontamination stations on closed deposits, is CZK 117 000.
§ 4
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2012.
