Communication from the Czech Statistical Office No. 398 / 2024 Coll.

The Czech Statistical Office, pursuant to § 19 (2) of Act No. 89 / 1995 Coll., on the National Statistical Service, as amended, announces with effect from 1 January 2025 an update of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Associated Health Problems (MKN-10).

The Czech Statistical Office issued the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Associated Health Problems (MKN-10) by the Czech Statistical Office Communication No. 495 / 2003 Coll., dated 18 December 2003, on the issue of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Associated Health Problems (MKN-10). This classification was updated by the Czech Statistical Office No.430 / 2008 Coll., the Czech Statistical Office No.340 / 2011 Coll., the Czech Statistical Office No.426 / 2012 Coll., the Czech Statistical Office No.464 / 2017 Coll., the Czech Statistical Office No.290 / 2019 Coll., the Czech Statistical Office No.576 / 2020 Coll., the Czech Statistical Office No.512 / 2021 Coll., the Czech Statistical Office No.398 / 2022 Coll. and the Czech Statistical Office No.402 / 2023 Coll.

The subject of the update is the addition of codes to identify geriatric fragility, familial hypercholesterolaemia and nutritional status in neonates and infants.
