DECLARATION
of 17 December 2010
on river basin areas
The Ministry of Agriculture provides pursuant to § 24 (9) of Act No. 254 / 2001 Coll., on Water and on the amendment of certain laws (Water Act), as amended by Act No. 150 / 2010 Coll.:
§ 1
(1) International countries1) are defined in the territory of the Czech Republic 2) by individual sub-basins.
(2) Part of the international Elbe basin area in the Czech Republic is defined by the sub-basin
(a) Upper and Central Elbe;
(b) Upper Vltava;
(c) Lower Vltava,
(d) Berounka; and
e) The fence, the Lower Elbe and other tributaries of the Elbe.
(3) Part of the international Odra basin area in the Czech Republic is defined by the sub-basin
(a) Upper Odra; and
b) Lusatian Nisa and other tributaries Odra.
(4) Part of the international Danube basin area in the Czech Republic is defined by the sub-basin
a) Moravia and tributaries of the Weight,
(b) Dyje; and
(c) other tributaries of the Danube.
§ 2
Individual sub-basins are defined by sub-basins of the 3rd order according to the number of hydrological order. The sub-catchment areas, the associated hydrogeological areas and the destination in which the administrative districts of the regions and the administrative districts of the municipalities with extended scope and the territorial scope of which the river managers fall are listed in the Annex to this Decree.
§ 3
Repeal
The following shall be deleted:
1. Decree No. 292 / 2002 Coll., on the water catchment areas.
2. Decree No. 390 / 2004 Coll., amending Decree No. 292 / 2002 Coll., on water catchment areas.
§ 4
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2011.
