Government Regulation
of 8 May 1951
on the stamping and issuing of silver hundred crowns in memory of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia.
The government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 5 paragraph 2 of Act No. 39 / 1948 Coll., on the tender of the Czechoslovak currency:
§ 1.
(1) In memory of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, commemorative silver hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "commemorative hundred crowns") are issued with a maximum number of 1,000,000 pieces. On commemorative hundred crowns is a portrait of President Clemente Gottwald.
(2) The memory hundred crowns are derived from a mixture of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of the commemorative stocron is 14 g. In the case of stamping, the deviation up and down is allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver purity 5 / 1000. The diameter of the commemorative stocron is 31 mm.
§ 2.
The Stocorns will begin to circulate the Czechoslovak Bank on 16 May 1951.
§ 3.
Commemorative hundred crowns are accepted by state and other public coffers and monetary institutions without restriction. Otherwise no one is obliged to receive more than 10 pieces of these coins.
§ 4.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication; to be carried out by the Minister for Finance.
