GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 14 September 2020
on awards awarded by the Ministry of Justice
The Government orders pursuant to § 49 (6) of Act No. 218 / 2000 Coll., on budgetary rules and on the amendment of certain related laws (budgetary rules), as amended by Act No. 26 / 2008 Coll.:
§ 1
Subject matter
This Regulation regulates the valuation of the Ministry of Justice ("the Ministry ') and the conditions for granting them.
§ 2
Valuation award
(1) The Ministry may award the following awards:
(a) awards to a natural or legal person for merit in the development of justice and law;
(b) an award to a natural person for showing talent representing a promise for the development of law and its proper application.
(2) The award of the valuation referred to in paragraph 1 (a) must be justified by specific facts showing an exceptional or long-term contribution to the Czech justice and law.
(3) The award of the valuation referred to in paragraph 1 (b) must be justified by the demonstration of exceptional legal capabilities.
§ 3
Valuation forms
The award referred to in Article 2 (1) shall consist of a diploma and, where appropriate, a cash or material valuation or a combination thereof. The sum of the values of all awards awarded by the Ministry in one calendar year may not exceed CZK 200,000.
§ 4
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2021.
