DECLARATION
of 5 December 2024
amending Decree No. 397 / 2020 Coll., on education in the basic strains of doctors
According to § 37 (1) (n), (p) and (q) of Act No. 95 / 2004 Coll., on the conditions for obtaining and recognising professional competence and specialised competence for the medical profession of physician, dental practitioner and pharmacist, as amended by Act No. 67 / 2017 Coll.:
Decree No. 397 / 2020 Coll., on education in the basic strains of doctors is amended as follows:
1. In Annex No 1 to 19 in Part I of the table under (a), the text "max. 'is inserted at the beginning of the second column of the second row.
2. In Annex 1 to 19, Part I, in Table (a), the text "max. 'is inserted at the beginning of the second column of the third row.
3. In Annex No 1 to 14 and 16 to 19 in Part I of the table under (a), the text "max. 'is inserted at the beginning of the second column of the fourth row.
4. In Annex Nos 1 to 6 and 8 to 19 in Part I of the table under (a), the text "min. 'is inserted at the beginning of the second column of the fifth row.
5. in Annex 1, Part I, in Table (a), in the first column of the last row, the words "equipment accredited for urgent medicine" are replaced by the words "emergency medicine."
6. In Annex 1, Part I, in Table (a), in the first column of the last row, the sentence "If professional experience is reduced in one of the fields referred to in points 1, 2 or 3, further experience in urgent medicine may be completed only in the length of such reduced practice."
7. In Annex No 1 to 19 in Part I, the following sentence is inserted after the table under point (a): "The variability of compulsory professional experience takes place on the basis of an agreement between trainers and trainees. '

13. in Annex No 2, 4, 6 to 8, 10 to 13, 15 and 16 in Part I of the table under (a), the text "min." shall be inserted at the beginning of the second column of the sixth row.
14. in Annex No 2, Part I, in the table under (a), in the second column of the fifth row, the number "18" is replaced by "12."
15. in Annex No 2, Part I, in the table under (a), in the second column of the sixth row, "6" is replaced by "12."

23. In Annex No 4, Part III, Educational activities of designated organisations, the course Basic Hygiene and Epidemiology (b) of personnel security is:
"1. Physicians with specialised hygiene and epidemiology competence or specialisation specialisation or specialised competence, or with special professional competence, or with special specialised competence in the field of epidemiology or hygiene of children and adolescents or hygiene of general and communal or hygiene of nutrition and subjects of routine use or hygiene of nutrition or hygiene of work and occupational disease or of occupational medicine and with experience of at least 3 years.
2. The guarantor of the course shall have specialised competence in the field of practice for at least 10 years.
3. A medical professional with specialised competence in the field in relation to subjects and practices taught for at least 3 years or an expert with a master's degree in relation to subjects taught and at least 3 years of experience. ';
24. in Annex 5, Part I, in Table (a), in the first column of the last row, the words "accredited equipment for these specialties" shall be replaced by the words "vascular surgery, paediatric surgery or gastro-enterology."
25. In Annex 5, Part I, in the table (a) in the first column of the last row, the word "maximum" is deleted and at the end of the text the sentence "Where professional experience in one of the fields listed in points 1, 2 or 3 is reduced, further experience may be completed in the field of vascular surgery, paediatric surgery or gastro-enterology up to the length of such reduced practice."

Transitional provisions
1. A doctor in the field of specialisation education who has started and has not completed the training in the base tribe before the date of entry into force of this decree may complete the training in accordance with Decree No. 397 / 2020 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this decree, or as effective after the date of entry into force of this decree. The doctor shall inform the trainer of his decision no later than the end of the month following the month of the entry into force of the decree, otherwise the doctor shall be deemed to have completed the training in accordance with Decree No. 397 / 2020 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of the decree.
2. The content of basic medical training, the requirements for technical and material equipment and personnel security of the workplace, which are a condition for obtaining accreditation for the performance of specialist medical training, the breakdown and scope of specialisation training in the baseline, the duration of compulsory professional experience in the field, and the type of professional practice at which the theoretical knowledge and practical skills which are subject to post-basic school examination, the scope and content of the study duties required to be completed before the post-basic school examination, shall be assessed for accreditation procedures initiated before the date of entry into force of this Decree, in accordance with Decree No. 397 / 2020 Coll., as effective before the date of entry into force of this Decree.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 2025.
