DECLARATION
Ministry of Culture
of 18 October 2000
repealing certain Regulations of the Ministry of Culture
The Ministry of Culture provides for the creation of ministries and other central authorities of the Czech Republic pursuant to § 13 (4) and § 22 (4) of Act No. 35 / 1965 Coll., on works of literary, scientific and artistic (copyright), as amended, and pursuant to § 8 of Act No. 2 / 1969 Coll., on the establishment of ministries and other central bodies of the state administration of the Czech Republic, as amended:
They shall be deleted:
1. Decree No. 55 / 1978 Coll., providing for exceptions to the obligation to negotiate in writing contracts on the dissemination of literary, scientific and artistic works,
2. Decree No. 115 / 1991 Coll., on the modification of remuneration and compensation to authorised entities for the use of subject-matter under copyright law by the acquisition of audio or audio image copies and public lending of images for personal use,
3. Decree No. 520 / 1992 Coll., amending and supplementing Decree No. 115 / 1991 of the Ministry of Culture Coll., on the modification of remuneration and compensation to authorised entities for the use of subject-matter under the Copyright Act by the acquisition of sound or sound image copies and public lending of images for personal use,
4. Decree No. 261 / 1996 Coll., on the remuneration of authors of works which, due to their nature, can be reproduced for their own personal use on the basis of printed matter or copies thereof by means of a technical device to another material background.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 December 2000.
