DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade
of 18 September 1990
prohibiting trade in the Republic of Iraq and the State of Kuwait
According to § 56 of Act No. 42 / 1980 Coll., on Economic Relations with Foreign Affairs, as amended by Act No. 102 / 1988 Coll. and Act No. 113 / 1990 Coll.:
(1) Czechoslovak persons may not import goods and receive services from the Republic of Iraq or export goods and provide services to the Republic of Iraq or trade goods of Iraqi origin.
(2) Imports into the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic of goods of Iraqi origin are prohibited.
Paragraph 1 shall not apply to humanitarian aid.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
