DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 4 March 1981
on the issue of commemorative silver hundred crowns for the 20th anniversary of a man's first flight into space
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the first human flight into space, commemorative silver hundred crowns are issued.
(2) The silver stockings are driven by an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The weight of the hundred koruna is 9 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 29 mm, the edge is serrated.
(1) On the face of the commemorative silver stokron is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and under it in one row the designation value "100 KCs." In the copy to the circle from the left is the name of the State "CZECH SOCIAL REPUBLIC."
(2) On the back of the commemorative silver stokron is the head of the cosmonaut in the helmet, left of it is stylized indication of the rocket and its orbit. In the copy of the lower half of the reverse side of the commemorative silver stokron is the text "MAN IN COSMU" and the years "1961 • 1981." The author of the coin design is the academic sculptor Jiří Vineček, whose brand "V" is placed in the middle under the cosmonaut helmet.
This Decree shall take effect on 28 April 1981.
