DECLARATION
Minister for Transport and Communications
of 3 April 1962
on the change of the rules of navigation safety for the Czechoslovak section of the Danube
The Minister of Transport and Communications declares in agreement with the participating ministers pursuant to § 2 (2) of Act No. 152 / 1950 Coll., on the modification and safety of the operation of inland navigation:
Article 5 (1) of the Additional Regulations on navigation on the Czechoslovak section of the Danube, issued by Decree of the Minister of Transport No. 72 / 1953 Coll., on the rules of navigation safety for the Czechoslovak section of the Danube, reads:
(to Article 20 ZP)
(1) On the Czechoslovak section of the Danube, from the mouth of the river Moravia (km 1880,2) to Gönyus (km 1790), tugs may carry tugs, unless the navigational decree provides otherwise,
(a) by its side while sailing downstream and upstream only one ship;
(b) in the downstream suspension in the side cluster, only the ships in one row, at the water condition on the watercourse in Bratislava 350 cm and below up to a total width of 31 m, at a higher water condition up to a total width of 40 m,
(c) in a curtain upstream of the ship, at a water condition at a water level of 350 cm in Bratislava and below a maximum of four ships and at a water level of not more than five ships. "
This decree shall take effect on 7 April 1962.
