Government Regulation
of 24 July 1956
on changes in the organisation of universities.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 3 of Act No. 58 / 1950 Coll., on Higher Education:
(1) The title of the University of Construction in Brno is changed and reads: "Technical University in Brno."
(2) The Faculty of Energy is established at the University of Technology in Brno.
The Faculty of Forestry of the University of Construction in Brno is organically integrated into the University of Agriculture in Brno, whose name is changed and reads: "College of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno."
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 1956; they shall be carried out by the Minister for Education and Culture in agreement with participating members of the Government.
