DECLARATION
of 8 October 2021
on the issue of a commemorative silver two hundred crown for the 200th anniversary of the birth of Karel Havlíček Borovský
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 27 October 2021, the 200th anniversary of the birth of Karel Havlíček Borovský is issued a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred crowns").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) Two hundred koruna is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,26 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front side of the two hundred crowns are represented fragments of the headlines of Karel Havlíček Borovský and the name of one of his literary works. At the top edge of the coin is the text "CZECH REPUBLIC" in the copy and at the left edge of the coin is the denomination with the abbreviation "200 CZK." The brand of the Czech Mint is placed at the bottom right edge of the coin.
(2) On the reverse side of the two hundred crown is a portrait of Karl Havlíček Borovsky. The text "KAREL HAVLIČEK BOROVSKÝ" and at the left edge the text "1821 - 2021" is on the circumference of the coin. The initials of the author of the coin, the academic sculptor Zbynek Fojt, which are made up of compositions of letters "F" and "Z" are located to the right of the text "1821."
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 27 October 2021.
