amending Act No 561 / 2004 Coll., on pre-school, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education (Education Act), as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on pre-school, primary, secondary, vocational and other education (Education Act), as amended by Act No. 383 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 112 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 158 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 161 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 165 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 179 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 342 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 217 / 2007 Coll., Act No. 246 / 2007 Coll., Act No. 243 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 306 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 126 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 189 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 242., Act No. 242 / 2008 Coll.
1. The second sentence of Paragraph 185 (8) reads: "Students who were due to have completed secondary education through a graduate examination before 1 September 2010 shall have a graduate examination in accordance with legislation effective until 31 August 2009."
2. Paragraph 185 (9) reads as follows:
"(9) The examination of a test subject under § 78 (1) (c) to (e) shall be carried out for the first time in the calendar year 2012 by a student who is to complete the secondary education through a graduate examination in the school year 2011 / 2012 and by a student who was to complete the secondary education through a graduate examination in the school year 2010 / 2011 for the first time in the calendar year 2012. '
3. In Article 185, the following paragraph 26 is added:
"(26) A pupil who is due to complete secondary education through a graduate examination in the school year 2010 / 2011 may take place instead of a foreign language examination under § 78 (1) (b) of the mathematics examination under § 78 (1) (c) of Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll. '.
Transitional provision
The provisions of Sections 77 to 83 of Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on Pre-school, Basic, Medium, Higher Vocational and Other Education (Education Act), as amended, apply for the first time in the school year 2010 / 2011. This is without prejudice to the provisions of Section 185 (9) of Act No. 561 / 2004 Coll., on pre-school, primary, secondary, higher vocational and other education (Education Act), as effective from the date of entry into force of the Act.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
